Company - Our Story
LTC Global owns and operates a national group of Long Term Care agencies. Among these are some of the leading Long Term Care specialist agencies in the country. LTC Global also provides financial solutions to independent Long Term Care agents and agencies as part of its innovative commission purchase program.
LTC Global was founded in 2002 by a team of financial and actuarial experts to provide strategic management and financial resources to agencies and agents in consulting to the LTC insurance and reinsurance LTCi industry. The company grew from advisory services to begin acquiring and managing operations for its own account.
In 2003, LTC Global acquired ACSIA, a major field marketing organization that helped pioneer the LTCi industry in the 1970s Long Term Care, Inc. from Conseco. ACSIA is the largest and oldest managing general agency dealing exclusively in Long Term Care in the country.
In 2004, following its successful efforts raising capital, LTC Global began in turn to provide cash capital resources to insurance agents and agencies, especially those with LTC business. This effort has grown into a popular financial services business whereby LTC Global affiliates purchase renewal commission blocks on more favorable terms than available from alternative providers of capital.
In late 2005, LTC Global Solutions acquired Kanawha's long term care marketing division in Fort Myers, Florida and incorporated under the name of the newly formed Senior Global Solutions, Inc. The Fort Myers team has since become the hub of agent support operations for the entire LTC Global family of companies.
In 2007, LTC Global made two more significant acquisitions to support its efforts to become the pre-eminent distributor of Long Term Care insurance nationally. In early March 2007, LTC Global acquired Senior Wealth Care Insurance Services, Inc. The addition of Senior Wealth Care to the LTC Global family has enabled us to add the distribution of fixed and indexed annuities to our existing customer base of nearly 100,000 Long Term Care insurance clients.
In June of 2007 LTC Global acquired Gelbwaks Insurance Services, Inc. of Plantation, Florida. Gelbwaks Insurance Services' exceptional reputation for marketing and sales support has made it one of the pre-eminent Long Term Care brokerage agencies in the country and was a key acquisition for LTC Global's goal of expanding its distribution capability.
Since then the company has been actively acquiring additional Long Term Care agencies across the country which have been integrated into the existing LTC Global family of agencies.
In February of 2008, LTC Global established its Affinity Marketing Division. The addition of this new distribution channel supports LTC Global's efforts to become the pre-eminent distributor of long term care insurance nationally.
Throughout its history LTC Global has continued to provide financial solutions to agents and agencies through its innovative and successful commission purchase programs and LTC distribution opportunities.
